Key Responsibilities
Train, schedule and supervise assigned staff in carrying out individual treatment plans
Conduct sensory processing evaluations and other clinical assessments
Design and monitor treatment techniques and programs
Promote community integration
Develop and implement groups and family education
Ensure person-centered assessment, goal setting, and treatment
Collaborate with primary Case Holder on Individual Plan of Service (IPOS)
Complete documentation of progress notes and evaluations
Monitor individual progress and maintain treatment records
Serve on interdisciplinary teams for goal development and discharge planning
Attend and present at team meetings and clinical reviews
Order treatment supplies and equipment
Provide supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT students
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree
Licensed by State of Michigan MS, OTR/L
Two years of professional work experience in a clinical setting
Demonstrated ability to communicate in verbal and written formats
Valid driver’s license
