Job Description
Join SharkNinja as the Vice President of Electrical Engineering, leading innovative electrical engineering teams in designing cutting-edge consumer products. You'll play a crucial role in driving the development of high-performance solutions, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure product success and market disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the electrical engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives
Provide hands-on technical leadership in power electronics and embedded systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and product success
Drive continuous improvement in electrical design, manufacturability, and reliability
Oversee the design, development, and validation of electrical systems for compliance with industry standards
Lead the selection and integration of power electronics
Ensure reliability and scalability of embedded system architectures
Guide the development of schematics, PCB layouts, and circuit simulations
Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to optimize DFM and DFT
Partner with suppliers and manufacturers for cost-effective production
Implement design validation testing processes
Build and mentor a high-performing electrical engineering team
Provide technical mentorship and career development opportunities for engineers
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering
At least 5 years in a leadership role
Expertise in power electronics including power conversion, battery systems, and motor control
Strong background in embedded systems design including microcontrollers and firmware
Proven experience in high-volume consumer product development
Deep understanding of DFM, DFT, and regulatory compliance
Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
