This role offers the opportunity to manage customer accounts, provide in-field support, and contribute to innovative product development while traveling to exciting motorsport events.
Key Responsibilities
Customer application engineering of Motorsport products on-site
Interface with development teams to ensure alignment of application activities
Adherence to software and product development processes
Troubleshoot and resolve component and system level issues
Integrate continuous improvement practices
Expand role in additional product areas
Domestic and international travel up to 40% per year
Required Qualifications
1+ years of professional hybrid powertrain experience
Bachelor’s Degree in electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, Mechanical (with software or controls emphasis) Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
1+ years of experience in application engineering or calibration engineering (academic or industry experience)
0 - 2 years of experience in account management in a client interfacing role
Industry experience in professional Motorsport, significant FSAE, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with ICE, hybrid and/or battery electric vehicles
Experience with programming and scripting including: MATLAB, Simulink, Python
Hands-on automotive experience related to holistic vehicle system design and analysis
Experience in using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscope, etc.)
Experience with networks and related technologies (IP, cloud)
Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics
German language skills
