Job Description

Join DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist, where you'll perform vital diagnostic exams in a dynamic trauma center. Contribute to patient care by utilizing advanced imaging technologies and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
  • Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history
  • Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
  • Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
  • Review images, document exceptions, and communicate data to radiologist
  • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
  • Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
  • Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
  • Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
