Job Description

Join BJ's Wholesale Club as a Store Development Manager, where you'll lead a high-performing sales team and develop innovative strategies to connect with customers and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Manage a team of sales representatives
  • Identify business markets and customer segments for growth
  • Track sales goals and set individual targets
  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors
  • Prepare reports documenting sales activities and forecasts
  • Attend trade shows and other events as needed
  • Resolve client complaints and improve processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, communications, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years sales experience, with at least 5 in a management role
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience developing and managing a sales team
  • Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collect, track and analyze data to draw insights
