Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing imaging equipment
  • Verify patient identity and review medical records
  • Interview patients to obtain and update medical history
  • Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
  • Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
  • Communicate data to radiologist
  • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
  • Provide post-care instructions to patients
  • Participate in process improvement activities
  • Provide imaging education to residents and new employees

Required Qualifications

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
  • AHA Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
