Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact nursing license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficient in triage, medication administration, IVs, and stroke/sepsis protocols
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the healthcare facility

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
• Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure safe nursing care
• Maintain nursing competencies through ongoing education
• Delegate patient care tasks based on staff education and experience
• Supervise and guide assigned healthcare personnel
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and Tennessee Nurse Practice Act guidelines
