Join Verizon as an Outside Plant Technician and help transform how people and businesses connect. You'll be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of telecom equipment while working with a dynamic team in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Connecting, disconnecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining Company and customer-provided equipment
Operating trucks and equipment safely
Installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing access lines
Performing construction work using designated equipment
Reading and interpreting engineering plans and vendor specifications
Climbing ladders and lifting items generally not exceeding 100 lbs
Working evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts as needed
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience
Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training
