Key Responsibilities
Processing referrals from Primary Care Providers
Building new referrals from network providers
Reviewing documents for completeness
Sending back documents for additional information
Canceling incomplete referrals
Accepting and determining referral criteria
Handling paperwork, faxing, scanning, and phone calls
Overseeing patient interactions daily
Performing other assigned duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
CPR certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days
2+ years of experience working in a health field
2+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or Practice Management Software systems
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience and/or training as a Medical Assistant
Bilingual in English/Spanish
