Key Responsibilities
Receive service calls and diagnose problems on electronic fire alarm systems
Service, troubleshoot, and install Fire & Life Safety systems
Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
Exhibit excellent customer service skills
Complete service acknowledgments and obtain customer signatures
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation
Train or mentor other team members
Provide solutions to enhance facility efficiency
Required Qualifications
5+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
Demonstrate a high level of customer service
Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
Preferred Qualifications
NICET II Level II certification
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
Experience with CCTV and IT and IP networks
