Job Description
Join Optum as a Part-Time Associate Patient Care Coordinator and be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and accurate registration. Key Responsibilities
Greets visitors and patients in person or via phone/video, providing excellent customer service
Enters and updates patient demographic and financial information
Obtains necessary applications and confirms signatures
Provides financial responsibility information and collects patient liabilities
Coordinates patient admission needs and tracking
Maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
6+ months of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work an average of 32 hours per week between 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
Full Flu vaccination
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of medical terminology
Working knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and patient care settings
