Job Description

Join Optum as a Part-Time Associate Patient Care Coordinator and be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and accurate registration. Key Responsibilities

  • Greets visitors and patients in person or via phone/video, providing excellent customer service
  • Enters and updates patient demographic and financial information
  • Obtains necessary applications and confirms signatures
  • Provides financial responsibility information and collects patient liabilities
  • Coordinates patient admission needs and tracking
  • Maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 6+ months of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work an average of 32 hours per week between 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
  • Full Flu vaccination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and patient care settings
