Job Description
Join Raytheon's Flight Avionics Team as a Senior GPS Systems Engineer, where you'll develop cutting-edge GPS electronics solutions for missile products. Leverage your expertise in RF subsystems and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to tackle meaningful challenges that enhance national security.
Key Responsibilities
Develop GPS electronics solutions for missile products
Provide architecture development, requirement definition, and electronics design
Interface with suppliers of navigation or guidance electronics components
Conduct analysis and modeling for GPS sub-assemblies
Mentor and support team members
Collaborate with functional and program leadership
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with electrical hardware development
Experience in developing RF electrical subsystems
Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in missile radar and RF seeker subsystems
Background in design and troubleshooting of antennas and circuit cards
Experience with integrated Guidance Electronics systems using GPS and IMU
Knowledge of M-Code
Familiarity with Matlab scripting
Experience with hardware integration and testing
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Knowledge of DOD Hardware development process
Experience in developing proposals
Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
