Key Responsibilities
Identify anatomical orientation on images and assure proper file identification
Operate MRI equipment and ensure safety protocols
Maintain communication with radiologists, patients, and families
Perform quality control and conduct MRI procedures
Educate patients on procedures and equipment
Assist in accreditation process for American College of Radiology
Demonstrate teamwork and maintain positive patient experiences
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)
MRI certification
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
1+ years of MRI Technologist experience
Proven ability to follow oral and written instructions
Proven ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees
Proven ability to adequately use or learn the department's computerized system
