Job Description:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
  • Perform vaginal exams and assess labor progression
  • Circulate in C-section deliveries and monitor patients recovering from spinal anesthesia
  • Identify and respond to life-threatening maternal or fetal complications
  • Ensure safety and proper use of patient lifting devices
  • Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care
  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
  • Exhibit leadership and the ability to prioritize in emergency or high-stress situations


Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.


Additional Requirements:

  • Traveler must hold CURRENT MA license.
  • BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
  • Must have NRP
