Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker, where you'll empower Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing adults with mental health challenges to live independently. Utilize a culturally competent approach to support residents in achieving their recovery goals and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Carry a caseload of residents and provide clinical intervention
Complete client assessments and develop safety plans
Provide individual and family counseling
Advocate on behalf of residents with other service providers
Participate in team meetings and documentation
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work
LMSW or LCSW certification preferred
Fluency in American Sign Language
Minimum of 1-year experience in Human Services preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or trauma
