Key Responsibilities
Assigns staff according to policies and ensures equal distribution of duties
Completes rounds to assess residents and resident care
Identifies and reports concerns to appropriate staff members
Manages and disciplines staff members as necessary
Promotes responsibility, accountability, and autonomy among staff
Reviews and revises care plan needs with Charge Nurses
Participates in direct delivery of patient care
Ensures a safe, comfortable, clean environment
Completes monthly QAPI and daily nursing labor forms
Handles crisis situations professionally
Required Qualifications
Current LPN in the state you will be working
Three to five years long-term care experience or similar nursing experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage time and organize daily schedule
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects using proper lifting techniques
Ability to transfer and move residents weighing 200+ lbs
Ability to push and pull equipment weighing in excess of 40 lbs
Manual dexterity and coordination
Ability to perform necessary documentation
Visual acuity
Must be able to manage a diversity of activities
Preferred Qualifications
Two years long-term care supervisory experience preferred
