JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct clinical reviews and provide auto-offers for labor and delivery patients • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment • Cross-train to work in the Mother/Baby unit • Manage and approve time-off requests, including every other holiday • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Current VA license (VA license pending submission is acceptable) • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification • Fetal monitoring certification • American Heart Association (AHNA) intermediate certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience in labor and delivery or maternal fetal medicine • Knowledge of certified nurse midwife population • Ability to work in a high-acuity environment • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
