Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatments/procedures according to provider orders
  • Provide care in various areas of the medical center, including NICU, Adult ICU, Emergency Department, and outpatient pulmonary rehab
  • Maintain standards of professional respiratory care
  • Act as a resource to other staff members
  • May train or communicate instructions to other employees

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License required upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution
  • 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting (for Respiratory Care Practitioner role)
  • 2 years of Respiratory care practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting (for Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner role)
  • Recent NICU, adult CCU and open heart experience (for Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner role)
