Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surgical and nonsurgical treatments for Soldiers, retirees, and their families
  • Determine treatment courses for patients with musculoskeletal disorders
  • Utilize state-of-the-art medical equipment
  • Participate in continued education and training
  • Conduct research in orthopedics

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
  • Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C., or Puerto Rico
  • Eligibility for board certification
  • Completion of at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education internship
  • U.S. citizenship for Active Duty
  • Permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in orthopedic surgery
  • Research experience in the medical field
