Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Cardiac Catheterization Lab team in a high-acuity acute care setting. The ideal candidate will bring specialized TAVR and structural heart experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures (including TAVR).
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, sedation levels, and hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per protocol.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (Epic).
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekends and weekdays as scheduled.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab or equivalent procedural setting.
• Must have TAVR and structural heart procedure experience.
• Strong critical care and procedural skills.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Certifications:

• RN License of NY State
• AHA - BLS,ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• COVID Card
