Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with call requirements
• Take 5-8 days of call per month • Work 48 hours on weekends, 12 hours per week • Entry-level position under immediate to general supervision with mentor/preceptor • Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients • Perform vascular, neuro and body studies • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders • Utilize specialized Siemens & GE cardiovascular and radiologic equipment • Work with 2 techs and 2 nurses per room • Perform diverse range of diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures • Conduct post-procedure reviews and confirm technical quality standards • Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting • Perform quality control checks, equipment cleaning and maintenance • Participate in 13 weeks of training program • Associate's degree or higher required • One required certification: ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular/Cardiac Interventional or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS), plus BLS • Level 1 experience preferred • Must be able to multi-task, remain calm in stressful situations, and work with minimum supervisionFacility:
