Job Description
Join Danbury as a Memory Care Coordinator (LPN) where you'll lead the charge in providing vital therapeutic programs for residents with memory care needs. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a supportive team, ensuring residents receive the compassionate care they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate therapeutic programs for residents
Assess resident characteristics and organize program content
Monitor daily functioning of the neighborhood
Assist in staff training regarding memory care programs
Establish teamwork through effective communication
Market the program through local organizations
Maintain accurate documentation complying with regulations
Assist with resident admissions and transitions
Keep abreast of current research and community resources
Required Qualifications
Must be an LPN
Experience with Alzheimer’s and other dementia individuals
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of previous experience in programming
Background in nursing/providing one-on-one care for seniors
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
