Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Communicate directly with patients and/or families to complete the registration process
Respond to inquiries in a compassionate and respectful manner
Obtain benefits and insurance verification
Collect point of service cash, co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance
Perform accurate computer data entry
Scan documents and organize patient services
Register and pre-register patients for various cases
Work with Patient Registration and Electronic Medical Record systems
Generate, review and analyze patient data reports
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
2+ years of experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department, Physician office or any medical setting
1+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of experience with insurance policies and procedures
Ability to work dayshifts, Monday through Friday 7am - 5pm
