The Patient Services Representative is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to patients, co-workers, and all visitors to CHC. Pre and post-visit planning, patient outreach, panel management, coordination and facilitation of home visits, efficiently managing clinical patient flow including patient registration, coordinating with clinical staff, answering patient questions, and/or referring patients to other CHC services or departments. This is for multiple locations: South End, Riverside, Winooski, Good Health, Essex, Pearl Street, Champlain Islands, and Safe Harbor.
A) Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Prior experience in a related field preferred Medical assistant (MA) experience preferred
B) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
High-level customer service skills, including the ability to maintain an even tone in the face of conflict. Good computer skills, including accurate data entry and the ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as electronic scheduling systems. Ability to convey detailed information clearly, ensuring others understand. Ability to give full attention to what others are saying, to understand the points being made, and to ask appropriate clarifying questions. Ability to self-motivate, attend to and retain detail, and prioritize/re-prioritize with minimum supervision. Ability to handle a fast-paced and changing environment. Willingness to work in a variety of locations and service lines for shifts as needed.
