ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirement included (not a weekend shift position)
• Approximately 15 call shifts per month with 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks on average
• Three twelve-hour shifts per week (weekends preferred when possible)
• 13-week assignment length
• Alaska permanent RN license required for submission
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Function as patient advocate and circulator while serving as resource for sterile field
• Work with variety of OR beds and equipment
• Use Epic EMR system
• Experience needed in Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics
• Must perform total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
• Minimal ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics procedures
• Required certifications: Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must have positive outlook and willingness to work with team members
• Experience as circulator preferred, scrub experience and CNOR certification are nice to have
Facility:
This healthcare facility features an advanced 11-room operating suite located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building. The facility specializes in complex surgical procedures including orthopedic surgeries, spine procedures, and robotic-assisted surgeries across multiple specialties. The operating rooms are staffed with an average of 8 RNs, 8 scrub technicians, and 5 surgical support technicians during day shifts, with night shift coverage provided by one charge RN and one scrub technician supported by an on-call team.
