Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Henry Ford Hospital, 2799 W. Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
- 3x12-Hour Shifts per Week (36 hours/week)
- Shifts Available:
- 1 position: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- 2 positions: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Please specify preferred shift when applying
- Overtime billable after 48 hours/week
Job Summary The Emergency Department RN provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, as well as documentation and patient/family education. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to address patient needs and variances from care goals.
Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current Michigan RN license
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC
- ENPC or PALS (at least one required)
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills
- Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Preferred Qualifications - Level I Trauma experience preferred (Level II accepted)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Licensure & Certifications - Required:
- Michigan RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- ENPC or PALS
