Job Description
Join St. David's Healthcare as a New Grad RN Resident in the Intermediate and Progressive Care units. This paid residency program offers advanced clinical training, mentorship, and hands-on experience to help you transition from student to registered nurse, while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in status
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers
Document care administration in the patient medical record in a timely manner
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient for therapeutic response
Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications
Required Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
No previous experience needed
Preferred Qualifications
Other Certifications may be required during employment
Some travel may be needed for training
