Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various makes and models of vehicles. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong dedication to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential problems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and resolve issues.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues and the required repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
• Adhere to company and industry safety standards and protocols.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
