Join Humana as a Telephonic Behavioral Health Care Manager Intern and make a difference in the lives of pediatric members. This internship provides valuable experience in behavioral health care management while supporting military service members and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Perform care management of pediatric members utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services
Monitor and maintain awareness of utilization and conduct outreach based on acuity
Participate in scheduled interagency planning meetings for treatment planning and discharge planning
Refer to Humana Valued Added Benefits as appropriate
Collaborate with outside parties including ABA providers, BH vendors, schools, and managing entities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social work or behavioral health-related field
Active licensed Registered Nurse, RN in the state of Florida without disciplinary action
Transitioning Service Member eligible for SkillBridge or military spouse eligible for military spouse fellowship
Minimum one year of experience in social work or behavioral health-related field
Minimum one year of experience working with pediatric population (under 21)
Minimum one year of case management experience
ACHA Level II Background Check
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a behavioral-health field
License in SW or BH related field (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)
CCM certification
Knowledge/experience in navigation of community health and social service agencies
Experience in dealing with complaints and grievances related to member care
Experience in participation in interagency meetings with community providers/members/families
1 or more years working with members receiving ABA services
