Job Description

Join Walgreens as an Inventory Specialist, where you'll be pivotal in managing inventory practices and ensuring on-shelf availability. You'll support pharmacy operations and engage with customers while training and leading team members to enhance their skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing and training on inventory best practices
  • Supporting pharmacy inventory management activities
  • Ensuring accuracy of on-hand balances and pricing
  • Engaging customers and resolving issues as needed
  • Coaching team members on inventory management processes
  • Maintaining accurate inventory counts and compliance with regulations
  • Assisting in physical inventory preparation
  • Completing pricing activities and maintaining pricing accuracy

Required Qualifications

  • Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year of prior retail work experience
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Achieving expectations rating on last performance review (internal candidates only)
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage execution
  • Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, or customer service associate
  • Prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file
