Key Responsibilities of the RN – OB/GYN:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in obstetrics and gynecology settings.
Monitor maternal and fetal health during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery.
Assist physicians during labor, deliveries, and gynecological procedures.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies as prescribed.
Educate and support patients and families on reproductive health and newborn care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
Requirements:
Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact state eligibility).
Minimum of 1–2 years recent OB/GYN or Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
