Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you'll provide essential treatments to patients, evaluate their needs, and develop personalized care plans. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and contribute to community education while ensuring high standards of patient care and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients based on departmental standards
Conduct and modify evaluations to establish individualized, measurable goals
Treat patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques
Administer modalities and manual therapeutic techniques to achieve goals
Educate patients/families on home exercise programs and functional activities
Document in accordance with insurance guidelines
Communicate effectively with interdepartmental teams and referring physicians
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license
Eligible or has a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Valid drivers' license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites
