Location: Honesdale, PA 18431
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 8-hour shifts × 5 per week
Weekly Pay: $2,766 (including stipends)

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures. This role requires critical thinking, advanced clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiologists and interventionalists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and conscious sedation as needed.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to cardiac emergencies, including providing advanced life support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or Compact License).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent Cath Lab or Critical Care nursing experience preferred.
  • Current certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • DCI/BVP preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure and emergencies.
