Prepares hot and/or cold foods for patients, cafeteria service, and special functions.  Follows standardized recipes on production sheet to produce foods according to established par levels and to minimize food waste, and ensures that the food is cooked to the appropriate temperature.  Reviews portion size and serving utensils with Cafeteria Cooks & Special Function Aide.  Prepares all baked goods for patient services, cafeteria service, special functions.  Prepares hot & cold food items for special functions as needed.  Pans food and garnishes to enhance presentation. Places expiration dates on all food items prepared and disposes of outdated products.  Follows HACCP guidelines for all food preparation, storage and service.
