Job Description

Join Randstad USA as a Client Development Manager for the Finance and Accounting sector, where you'll leverage your accounting skills to drive new business opportunities and build lasting client relationships. This dynamic role combines sales strategy, market analysis, and client engagement to enhance our leadership in the staffing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate GP in personal production by selling segment orders within the market.
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans to meet or exceed sales objectives for medium to large accounts.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships while promoting Randstad's leadership position in the staffing industry.
  • Manage the sales process by building and maintaining a database of qualified contacts.
  • Increase market share and revenue by acquiring new clients and expanding business within existing accounts.
  • Network locally to develop business and stay current on industry trends.
  • Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to create new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate staffing agreements, contracts, and addendums at existing accounts.
  • Identify and qualify potential prospects for new business development.
  • Foster strategic alliances and collaborate with internal leaders for cross-selling opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required reports and activity tracking.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of business experience and/or
  • 2+ years of business to business sales
  • Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
  • Proven ability to bounce back from rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Proven success in using social media and online platforms to build relationships and generate leads
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax laws, auditing, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and industry knowledge
  • Analytical problem-solving, effective communication, software proficiency, attention to detail, organization, critical thinking, data analysis, and financial modeling
  • Adaptability, interpersonal and leadership skills, problem-solving capabilities, ethical behavior, and a commitment to continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • CPA, CMA, CFA Certification
  • Previous experience and/or background in Finance & Accounting i.e. bookkeeping, financial reporting, auditing, tax preparation and financial analysis
