Key Responsibilities
Direct and assess patient care provided to all patients on the unit
Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient care to maintain patient flow
Support staff retention and create an excellent work environment
Provide feedback to the Department Director regarding job performance
Facilitate communication among nursing units
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or compact state
Current AHA BLS certification
Current AHA ACLS certification within 1 year of hire
Current AHA PALS certification within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in emergency department settings
Leadership or supervisory experience
Knowledge of The Joint Commission standards and CMS regulations
