Job Description
Join Raytheon's Materials Management Team as a Materials Management Engineer II, where you'll tackle material procurement and obsolescence challenges. Utilize your engineering expertise to develop innovative solutions, ensuring compliance and effective supplier interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage material related procurement and obsolescence tasks
Interface with suppliers and chemical management companies
Present issues to Leadership, Program Management, and Supply Chain
Collaborate with the Materials Verification Lab and subject matter experts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science (e.g., chemistry, polymer science, materials engineering) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Experience with material testing techniques (e.g., FTIR, hardness, % elongation)
Preferred Qualifications
Professional level communication skills
Knowledge of various materials (e.g., epoxies, polymers, elastomers, composites)
Experience with Raytheon's chemical procurement systems (e.g., tcmIS, PRISM, Incora)
