The Clinical Research Nurse (RN) specializes in planning, delegating, and coordinating direct research care for oncology patients within clinical trials. They ensure compliance with federal and state research regulations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a registered nursing license, experience in nursing and research coordination, and knowledge of oncology research protocols.
Job Description: The clinical research nurse (RN) is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, delegating, and coordinating the direct research care of a group of patients during a designated time frame. The Research RN is responsible for assuring compliance with Federal and State regulations relating to research and the study protocol requirements. The RN coordinates and provides care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology, in partnership and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.Education:
Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing Required
Experience:
2 years Nursing - Registered Nurse Required
1 year Research Coordinator Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
CCRC Certified Clinical Research Coordinator - ACRP Association of Clinical Research Professionals Preferred
Oncology and Research experience preferred
Work Shift: 08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:
$76.02 - $102.61 HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
