Join a multidisciplinary ICU where your critical care skills truly matter . With a typical nurse-patient ratio of 1:2 (can vary 1:1 to 1:3), you'll manage a variety of complex cases: sepsis, cardiac arrest, DKA, strokes, respiratory failure, post-vascular surgeries, and more.

Exposure to Advanced ICU Procedures:
Bedside bronchs, trachs, intubations, arterial/Swan-Ganz lines, chest tubes & more.

Tech & Equipment You'll Use:
Alaris, Prisma Flex, Arctic Sun, IABP, Impella, Belmont Rapid Infusor, Phillips Monitors, and more.

Medications & Drips:
Vasopressors, sedatives, paralytics, antiarrhythmics.
Titration required for: Levophed, Epi, Vasopressin, Nicardipine, Cleviprex.
Required Skills:

• IV, Central/PICC Line Management, A-Lines, CVP
• Sheath Removal, Cardioversion/Defibrillation
• Ventilator Management, BiPAP/CPAP, Trach Care
• Feeding Tubes, Wound Vacs

Preferred Skills:

• IABP, PA Line Management, Impella, ICP Monitoring, EVD, CRRT, PCA/Epidural, 12-lead EKG, Behavioral Health

Float Requirement:

• May float to Stepdown
• Must float to Med Surg (4-5 patient assignment)
