Job Description

Join Amazon's Project Kuiper as a Senior Electrical Design & Verification Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in developing hardware tests for innovative Low Earth Orbit satellite technology. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-speed broadband connectivity solutions for underserved communities while tackling complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage comprehensive test procedures and execute system and board level test plans
  • Collect test data, perform data analysis, and document results
  • Conduct test readiness reviews and align with various stakeholders
  • Maintain requirements traceability during testing and solve integration and test problems
  • Develop methodologies to test and create test scripts in collaboration with design and FW engineers
  • Troubleshoot and propose viable fixes when faced with electrical failures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in board level design verification for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics products
  • 5+ years of experience building test fixtures and complex test systems
  • 5+ years of experience developing requirements, plans, and procedures for product design verification
  • 5+ years of experience in the use of standard electronic lab test equipment
  • 5+ years of experience with design or test of switching power supplies, electric motors, IMUs, sensors, and high-speed electrical signal characterization
  • 5+ years of experience in design verification of high-speed interfaces, signal integrity and protocol compliance
  • Experience with hardware and software tools for test automation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
  • Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to coordinate between engineering, test lab, and technicians
  • Experience in test plans and protocols related to established Space Hardware test processes
  • Experience with development of automated test systems
  • Experience in reviewing requirements to support various test phases
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
