Job Title: Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Location: Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Position Summary: Central Carolina Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a variety of medical conditions, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and acute care management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
