Job Description
ABF Freight is seeking a Local CDL-A Driver in Portland, OR to handle the pickup and delivery of cargo. You'll be part of a respected team with excellent pay and benefits, including a sign-on bonus and union protections.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Operate a forklift as needed
Exercise independent judgment on trailer management
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Perform various tasks related to check-in and cargo delivery
Required Qualifications
Minimum 21 years of age
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
