Key Responsibilities
Provide medical services to patients in the Emergency Department
Supervise and teach residents, interns, and medical students
Foster a supportive clinical learning environment
Collaborate with consultants and subspecialists
Model exceptional clinical practice for learners
Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record
Participate in residency teaching conferences and academic projects
Provide timely feedback and evaluations to residents
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
Valid license to practice medicine in California
Valid DEA license
Compliance with EM Board mandated education and training
