Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions
Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician
Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families
Provide bedside care for various patients, including pre- and post-op patients
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment
Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan
Required Qualifications
BLS certification
ACLS certification
1-2 years recent acute care experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
