Job Description
Short Term WASHINGTON LICENSED EP Lab Technicians needed ASAP to help in a Washington Hospital. The EP Lab Technician supports the electrophysiologist and clinical team during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, including electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, and device implants such as pacemakers and ICDs. The technician is responsible for technical support, equipment setup and operation, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
HealthCare Staffing Solutions (HCSS) is a national company that helps hospitals in crisis situations. We have some short-term assignments (3 to 7 days) coming up in Washington. In addition to a high hourly rate, we would also be paying for your travel, housing in a 4-5 star hotel, and a daily meal stipend. You would be working in a large acute hospital with several other Allied clinicians also working short term assignments to help take care of patients in need of your skills.

*Key Responsibilities:* * Assist with preparation and setup of EP lab equipment and sterile field for procedures. * Operate specialized EP monitoring and mapping systems (e.g., CARTO, EnSite, Rhythmia). * Provide technical support during procedures, including recording intracardiac signals and interpreting electrophysiological data. * Collaborate with the physician and nursing staff to manage patient care during procedures. * Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural events. * Perform daily calibration and maintenance of EP lab equipment. * Ensure proper handling and processing of devices and supplies. * Maintain accurate and thorough procedural documentation and logs. * Participate in on-call rotation for emergent EP procedures. * Adhere to hospital infection control and patient safety policies.
