Gastroenterology Physician

A Gastroenterology Physician providing specialized inpatient care focused on gastrointestinal procedures including EGD, colonoscopies, and PEG tube placements at a Level 2 Trauma hospital. The role involves flexible scheduling with shifts covering seven days a week and supported by a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers. The position requires board certification or eligibility, appropriate licensure, and proficiency with Epic EMR to manage a daily volume of approximately 15 patients.

• Schedule: flexible, 1-4 weeks/month (seven day blocks)
• Shift: Monday-Sunday, 7a-5p
• Call: N/A
• Scope: GI Hospitalist Required: EGD, Colonoscopies, Peg Tubes
• ERCP/EUS preferred but not required
• Volume: 15 PPD
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital: Level 2 Trauma
• Group/support: 2 APP s, 1 MD, Full support
• Credentialing: 30 days
• Require: BC/BE, Oklahoma license or Compact license
