Key Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and guests while providing excellent patient service
  • Performs all registration functions, updating/validating demographics and insurance information
  • Utilizes technology to assist patients upon arrival
  • Makes appointments efficiently across the healthcare continuum
  • Collects co-pays and reconciles cash drawer
  • Documents patient outreach and call backs
  • Communicates effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
  • Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills
  • Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
  • Pleasant and poised demeanor
  • Excellent phone etiquette

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals
  • Epic experience
  • Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills
