Key Responsibilities
Greets patients and guests while providing excellent patient service
Performs all registration functions, updating/validating demographics and insurance information
Utilizes technology to assist patients upon arrival
Makes appointments efficiently across the healthcare continuum
Collects co-pays and reconciles cash drawer
Documents patient outreach and call backs
Communicates effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills
Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
Pleasant and poised demeanor
Excellent phone etiquette
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals
Epic experience
Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills
