Join MassMutual as a Project Manager in the newly formed Corporate Functions Program Management Office, where you'll lead impactful projects in Corporate Finance, Enterprise Risk, and Investment Management. Leverage your extensive project management experience to drive strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Project Sponsors and Functional Managers to compile Discovery artifacts
Develop and maintain required Detailed Planning artifacts and manage plan execution
Determine project scope and manage scope execution across multiple large projects
Develop financial forecasts and manage cost variance
Ensure early identification, resolution, and escalation of project risks
Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies beyond own scope of responsibility
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of project management experience
Proven success in delivering complex long-term projects on time, within budget, and to scope
Strong understanding of project management methodologies
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software including MS Project, Smartsheet, and Jira
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of project management experience, 5+ within a PMO
8+ years of experience leading projects impacting core Investment Management and Capital Market systems
Experience leading projects related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, or legal operations
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Agile/Waterfall project management experience
