Job Description

Join Raytheon as a Test Development Design Engineer II, where you'll develop and integrate advanced test hardware, software, and firmware solutions for critical manufacturing and customer facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop test hardware, software, and/or firmware from requirements definition through deployment
  • Identify test readiness issues and optimizations throughout the development lifecycle
  • Meet established project budget, schedule, and performance commitments
  • Guide mechanical engineering and/or suppliers through test adapter design activities
  • Work effectively within a team or as an individual contributor
  • Engage in personal technical growth
  • Prepare and present work product at project status meetings
  • Support Manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting and debugging

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of two years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience in electrical engineering design and/or software automation concepts and applications
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or experience with electrical engineering design concepts
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working as a member of a team
  • Experience with National Instruments’ TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, and/or LabVIEW
  • Experience with Digital, Analog, RF, and/or Power Supply test hardware and/or software design
  • Experience with automation of commercial test and measurement equipment
