Job Description
Join Zen Educate as an Education Assistant and make a lasting impact by supporting K–12 special education students. This role offers you the chance to develop classroom experience while helping students reach their full potential through academic and behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff with academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
